I had started this blog some time ago, thinking it would be so cool to share my thoughts & kookiness with all of you out there & to hear about your thoughts as well. But all of you out there didnt seem interested or didnt even know I existed, so I got frustrated & gave up. Well, I am going to try to give this another shot. I see that some very lovely people have actually read what I had to say & they have even commented on it. Wow, thank you so much, it means a lot to me.

ReplyDeleteOh gosh...Thank you...I feel like I am failing already!
ReplyDeleteYou have to work it. I have been blogging since Dec. 17th and just reached 300 + followers...let me know if you want some starting out tips since I was there not long ago! Hang in there...it is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteJust keep writing and the followers will come! And remember to maximize social media like twitter and facebook to help find like minded folks to connect with!

All blogs started out small with 0 readers at one point, right? Just getting started is the hard part - you've done that already, now keep it up and they'll come! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm already intrigued! Write on...
ReplyDeleteDo not give up. First off, blogging should be for yourself, so write about what interests you and if people like it, they will read.
ReplyDeleteVisiting other blogs is really the way to go. Usually people will pay a visit to your blog when you comment on theirs, just like I did. Also, participate in memes where you link up, like Wordless Wednesday. There is a meme for everyday of the week. You will definitely get visitors. And remember, we all started out with no followers, it does to work and time, but if you enjoy blogging, it will definitely be worth it!
Aww! Never give up! There are some sites and groups dedicated to helping new blogs get readers.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever have any questions or need any help feel free to email me! :)

Each voice is important.
ReplyDeleteAs time continues, you will find yours raising in strength. Bloggers are like old wise women, they are patient! LOL (mostly)
Finding blogs wherein communication can be bantered back and forth is a great source for growth. Comments given...and comments returned...
And not having fear of going out and making new friends :)
Invitations are an excellent manner to bring a new reader to your blog...
ex:
I invite you to come and visit my latest work: http://adivashammer.com/?p=1477#comments
Would love to have you visit with me.
See, we are chatting like old friends :)
Hope to see you and about !
Hey, Gina...keep the blog going. Sometimes I think I'm talking to myself when I blog and then wow...someone comments. Yippee! I like your blog. You make me smile. Write what u feel. I follow quite a few blogs and love them all. Some of the bloggers feel like friends. It's funny how that happens. So...write girl, write!
